Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Set up the Breading Station: In three separate bowls, place flour mixed with garlic powder, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and cayenne pepper.

Bread the Shrimp: Dip each shrimp in flour, shaking off the excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs adhere well. Repeat until all shrimp are breaded.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the basket (you may need to do this in batches) and lightly spray the shrimp with cooking spray. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired.

Serve: Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a serving plate and drizzle with the Bang Bang sauce. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.

Enjoy!: Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side and enjoy your crispy, spicy Bang Bang Shrimp!
