Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt to create the blackening spice blend.

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the spices adhere better.

Rub each fillet with olive oil on both sides.

Generously sprinkle the blackening spice blend over the top and sides of the salmon, ensuring they are well coated.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure there’s a little space between them for even cooking.

Cook the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the fillets are cooked through and flake easily with a fork. Adjust the cooking time slightly depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle lemon juice over the top to brighten the flavors.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.

                    Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes | Servings: 2

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the blackened salmon on a plate with lemon wedges on the side and steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Enjoy your vibrant and flavorful dish!
