Ingredients
  

1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes) or metal skewers

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well to create a marinade.

    Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for a deeper flavor).

      Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes.

        While the air fryer is heating, thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.

          Once preheated, arrange the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. If necessary, cook in batches.

            Cook the chicken skewers in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).

              Remove the skewers from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

                Serve the chicken souvlaki with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy with a side of tzatziki sauce and pita bread for a complete meal!
