Sirloin steak is a popular cut of beef, known for its rich flavor and tenderness. It comes from the rear back portion of the cow and offers a perfect balance of taste and texture that makes it an ideal choice for steak bites. The flavor profile of sirloin steak is robust yet not overwhelmingly strong, allowing it to absorb the flavors of marinades and seasonings beautifully.

Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a garlic butter marinade.

Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss until fully coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour for more intense flavor.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Place the marinated steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.

Cook the steak bites at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. Adjust time for your desired doneness (8 minutes for medium-rare, 10 minutes for medium).

Once cooked, remove the steak bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
