Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna with the mashed avocado and Greek yogurt. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Add the freshly squeezed lime juice to the mixture, stirring it in to keep the avocado from browning.
Incorporate the finely chopped red onion, diced celery, and chopped cilantro into the bowl, mixing until evenly distributed.
Sprinkle in the garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything until well combined.
Serve the tuna salad on a bed of mixed greens or in lettuce wraps, depending on your preference. You can also chill the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for enhanced flavors before serving.
Notes
For an attractive presentation, scoop the salad into avocado halves and garnish with additional cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
