Ingredients

4 large croissants

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup ham, sliced thin

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket.

Generously fill each croissant with the chicken, ham, and cheese mixture, ensuring an even distribution.

Press the sides of the croissant gently to seal the filling inside.

Place the filled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg to give them a beautiful golden color when baked.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve warm on a rustic wooden board, garnished with sprigs of thyme and a side of pickles for additional crunch. Enjoy these delightful croissants as a delicious appetizer or a heartwarming brunch option!
