Ingredients

1 French baguette, sliced into 1-inch pieces

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

4 oz goat cheese, softened

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon honey

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.

Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until slightly golden and crispy.

In a small bowl, mix the softened goat cheese with honey until smooth. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.

Once the toast is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute.

Spread a generous layer of the honey-goat cheese mixture on each toast slice.

Top each slice with the sliced strawberries and then drizzle balsamic glaze over the strawberries.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and additional flavor.

Serve immediately while the toast is warm and the strawberries are fresh.
