To make tasty beef sliders, you need a few key ingredients. The main one is ground beef. I prefer 80/20 beef for juicy sliders. This mix has enough fat to keep the meat moist.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

8 slider buns

8 slices sharp cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon ketchup

Pickles, for topping

Fresh arugula or lettuce, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overhandling.

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and form small patties, slightly larger than the buns since they will shrink as they cook.

Place the slider patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness, or until fully cooked to your desired level. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.

While the sliders are cooking, mix the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup in a small bowl to create a tangy sauce.

Toast the slider buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assemble the sliders: spread a bit of the sauce on the bottom bun, add the cheesy beef patty, top with pickles, and add arugula or lettuce for a fresh crunch.

Place the top bun on and serve warm.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 sliders

                    - Presentation Tips: Arrange the sliders on a large wooden board, with some pickles and fresh arugula scattered around for a vibrant display. Use toothpicks to secure each slider if needed for easy handling.
