Ingredients

1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons onion powder

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large skillet or pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Season the beef cubes with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add them to the hot skillet in batches to avoid overcrowding. Sear the beef on all sides until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent. Add the minced garlic and continue to sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Return the browned beef to the skillet. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and dried thyme. Stir everything together.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it cook for about 30-35 minutes until the beef is tender.

If you prefer a thicker gravy, mix the cornstarch with a little cold water to create a slurry. Add this to the skillet and stir until the gravy thickens (approximately 2-3 minutes). Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve the beef tips over mashed potatoes or noodles, and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

                Prep Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 50 mins | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve in shallow bowls, ensuring some of the gravy pools around the beef tips, and top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a vibrant finish.
