Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skin-on, approximately 6 ounces each)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh parsley. Season the garlic butter mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring they are well coated.

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).

Once cooked, remove the dish from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes.

To serve, spoon some of the remaining garlic butter from the baking dish over the fillets. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
