Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup American cheese, shredded

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles

1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped

8 small slider buns or mini burger buns

Leafy green lettuce, shredded

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, white vinegar, and chopped dill pickles. Set aside.

Shape the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide into 8 equal portions and gently form them into small patties. Make them slightly larger than the buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, add a small amount of cheddar and American cheese on top of each, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the beef is cooked to desired doneness.

Assemble the Mini Big Macs: Toast the slider buns lightly if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, add a spoonful of the burger sauce, followed by a layer of shredded lettuce, a cheese-topped patty, and a sprinkle of chopped onions.

Top and Garnish: Place the bun tops on each mini burger and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using for a classic touch.

Serve: Arrange the mini burgers on a platter and serve immediately with extra sauce on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 mini burgers
