Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup green onions, chopped

1 package of wonton wrappers (about 48 wrappers)

Cooking oil (for frying)

Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.

To fill the wontons, lay out a few wrappers on a clean surface. Place a teaspoon of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle, pinching the edges to seal. For a decorative touch, you can twist the edges for a more elaborate shape.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat. Carefully drop in a few wontons at a time, frying until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes). Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve the buffalo chicken wontons hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
