Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ball of burrata cheese (about 8 oz)

Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crisp.

In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed and let it sit for about 10 minutes to marinate.

Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven.

Top each toasted slice with a generous spoonful of the tomato and basil mixture.

Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place on top of the tomato mixture on each bruschetta.

Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top for added flavor.

Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil leaves if desired.
