  • ▢ 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ▢ 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust for heat!
  • ▢ ½ teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

  • Step 1: Sauté the Garlic
  • In a small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, just until fragrant. Don’t let it brown!
  • Step 2: Add the Flavor
  • Add the remaining butter, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and parsley to the pan. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  • Step 3: Simmer
  • Let the sauce cook on low for about 5 minutes, whisking occasionally. This helps all the flavors marry together beautifully.
  • Step 4: Taste and Adjust
  • Want more heat? Add a pinch of cayenne. More lemony zip? Go ahead and squeeze in a bit more juice. This sauce is yours to tweak!
