Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Start by patting the shrimp dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until it turns pink and slightly charred.

Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes until cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and transfer to a plate.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Stir in the smoked paprika and lemon juice, combining well with the garlic butter sauce.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss everything together until the shrimp are well-coated in the garlic butter sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Remove from heat, and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for added flavor and color.
