Ingredients

1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (your choice of flavor, such as vanilla or chocolate)

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup powdered sugar (for glazing)

2 tablespoons milk (for glazing)

Optional toppings: sprinkles, chocolate chips, or crushed nuts

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the batter is smooth and all ingredients are well incorporated.

Add the baking powder to the batter and mix until fully combined.

Transfer the batter to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner cut off for easier filling.

Fill each donut cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.

Let the donuts cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

While the donuts are cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk in a bowl until smooth. If the glaze is too thick, add a little extra milk until you reach your desired consistency.

Once the donuts are completely cooled, dip the tops into the glaze and let any excess drip off.

If desired, sprinkle with toppings like sprinkles, chocolate chips, or crushed nuts while the glaze is still wet.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 donuts

                        - Presentation Tips: Arrange the donuts on a decorative platter, and for an extra touch, drizzle some melted chocolate over a few of them for a gourmet look!
