2 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Sea salt flakes for topping

½ cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts, optional)

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.

    Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes using an electric mixer.

      Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until completely combined.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
