Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil, for frying

Ketchup and mustard, for dipping

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Cook until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine well.

Remove the skillet from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly. Once cooled, add the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped dill pickles to the beef mixture, stirring until well combined.

Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the cheeseburger mixture onto the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom edge of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly towards the top edge. Use a little water on the top edge to seal the roll.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

In a deep skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Carefully place 3-4 egg rolls in the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally.

Remove the egg rolls from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
