Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

¼ cup pickles, diced

¼ cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup chopped lettuce

¼ cup ketchup

¼ cup mustard

Optional: sliced jalapeños for extra heat

Instructions

Prepare the Fries: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Fries: Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Cook the Ground Beef: While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Assemble the Cheeseburger Fries: Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and layer the cooked beef evenly over the fries. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Toppings: Remove the loaded fries from the oven and garnish with diced pickles, tomatoes, chopped lettuce, and any additional toppings you desire (like jalapeños). Drizzle with ketchup and mustard to finish it off.

Serve and Enjoy: Carefully transfer the cheeseburger fries to a serving platter or individual plates. Serve hot and enjoy this mouthwatering fusion of burgers and fries!
