Ingredients

12 Hawaiian rolls

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

6 slices cheddar cheese, halved

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 dill pickle, finely chopped

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Fresh arugula or spinach for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until just combined. Shape the mixture into 12 small patties.

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

While the patties are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and chopped dill pickle in a small bowl. Set aside.

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to form a top and bottom layer, keeping them connected. Place the bottom layer in a baking dish.

Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on the bottom layer of the rolls.

Spread a generous amount of the prepared sauce over the patties.

Place the top halves of the rolls over the patties. Brush the melted butter on top of the rolls for added flavor and a golden finish.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

Once done, let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then cut them apart and garnish with fresh arugula or spinach if desired. Serve warm.
