Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup of sour cream

1 cup of frozen peas (optional)

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess fat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, sour cream, and frozen peas (if using). Stir until everything is well-coated.

Spread the beef and cheese mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish.

Carefully arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture, covering it completely.

Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
