Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tbsp butter

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a small cup of pasta water.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the ground beef, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 6-8 minutes.

Add Garlic: Once the beef is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Create the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. To the ground beef and garlic, add the heavy cream and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is creamy.

Cheesy Goodness: Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese until fully melted and combined. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is thoroughly coated with the cheesy beef mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes over low heat to warm everything together.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
