Ingredients

6 large croissants, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

8 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cut croissant pieces, shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and crumbled sausage (if using). Toss gently to distribute.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant and cheese mixture in the baking dish, ensuring all pieces are well coated.

Gently press down the mixture with a spatula to ensure the croissants absorb the egg mixture. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up and golden brown on top.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
