Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

4 large flour tortillas

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add the diced chicken to the skillet, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes.

      In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped spinach, soft cream cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix well until everything is well incorporated.

        Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Divide the cheesy chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each wrap.

          Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, securing the filling inside.

            Wipe the skillet clean and return it to medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy.

              During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the wraps and cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese fully.

                Remove the wraps from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes before slicing them in half.

                  Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
