Ingredients

1 package of puff pastry (thawed)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray or butter.

In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. This will be your garlic butter mixture.

Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases. Cut the pastry into rectangles, approximately 4 inches by 6 inches.

Brush each rectangle generously with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to get the garlic bits on the pastry.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over each rectangle.

Starting from one long side, roll up the rectangle tightly to form a log. Slice each log into two equal pieces and arrange them cut side up in the greased muffin tin.

Repeat with the remaining pastry and filling.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes or until the cruffins are puffed up and golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
