Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Flour for dusting

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut the dough into 3-inch squares.

In the center of each square, place a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese and two slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder on top.

Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a sealed ball. Pinch the seams together to ensure they are secure.

Place the pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown.

While they are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat for dipping.

Once done, remove the pizza bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12 bombs

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve warm with marinara sauce in a small bowl for dipping, garnished with freshly chopped basil for a pop of color.
