12 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb chicken breast, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta water. Drain and set aside.

    Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add diced chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
