250g fettuccine or your pasta of choice

200g chicken breast, sliced into thin strips

200g mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Cook the Mushrooms: In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 4-5 minutes until softened and browned. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
