Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

4 slices of ham, chopped

4 slices of Swiss cheese, shredded

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 cup frozen peas

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

Add the diced chicken to the pot, and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Sprinkle the flour over the chicken mixture. Stir well to coat and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Gradually add chicken broth while stirring, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

Stir in the heavy cream, milk, and Dijon mustard. Mix well and return to a gentle simmer.

Add the chopped ham, frozen peas, and shredded Swiss cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Let the soup cook for another 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
