For chicken crescent rolls, you need simple but tasty ingredients. The key part is the creamy chicken filling. This filling needs cooked chicken, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese. I love using shredded chicken for a good texture. Cream cheese makes it rich and smooth. Mozzarella adds a nice stretch when you bite into it.

Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it onto a clean surface. Do not separate the triangles yet; keep the dough in rectangular sheets.

Cut the Dough: With a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice the rectangular dough into squares (about 4x4 inches).

Fill the Rolls: Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners of the dough square to the center over the filling and pinch to seal securely.

Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Place the filled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and flaky.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
