1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup caramel sauce

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

      Mix in Eggs and Vanilla: Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

          Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the dough until evenly distributed.

            Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each scoop.
