1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

In a pitcher, mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water together until well combined.

Stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Adjust the sweetness based on your preference.

In a small bowl, mix the butterfly pea flower powder with a few tablespoons of warm water to create a concentrated mixture. This will give the lemonade its enchanting color.

Slowly add the butterfly pea flower mixture to the lemonade while gently stirring. You’ll see the lemonade transform into a vibrant blue or purple hue!

In another small bowl, combine the baking soda with a few teaspoons of water to dissolve it. This will turn the color of the lemonade from blue/purple to a lively pink when added.
