Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Salt to taste

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Use a fork or spatula to mix until smooth and fully integrated.

Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Finally, fold in the chopped parsley and chives for a fresh finish.

Taste the butter and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt or hot sauce if desired.

Transfer the cowboy butter to a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to seal tightly.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. This butter can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or frozen for longer storage.
