Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup cooked crab meat (or imitation crab), shredded

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional for flavor, omit if needed)

1 package egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce, for serving

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded crab meat, chopped green onions, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Mix until smooth and evenly combined.

Lay one egg roll wrapper on a clean, dry surface with a corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll it tightly away from you to close the egg roll. Use a little water to seal the top corner. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

In a large skillet or deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat (about 350°F or 175°C).

Once the oil is hot, gently place a few egg rolls in the oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Once cooked, remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce for dipping.

                Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Arrange the egg rolls on a large platter with sauce in small bowls placed around them for dipping. Garnish with additional chopped green onions and sesame seeds for a pop of color!
