For the Cheddar Bay Biscuits:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

3/4 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

For the Crab Filling:

1 cup lump crab meat, picked over for shells

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Make Biscuit Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the cheddar cheese.

      Add Buttermilk: Pour the buttermilk and parsley into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overwork the dough.

        Prepare Crab Filling: In another bowl, mix together the crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.

          Form Biscuits: Take about a tablespoon of the biscuit dough and flatten it in your hand. Place about a tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center, then fold the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch to seal it. Gently reshape into a biscuit. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

              Make Lemon Butter Sauce: While the biscuits are baking, prepare the lemon butter sauce. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
