Ingredients

4 slices of sourdough bread

4 ounces Brie cheese, sliced

4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced

1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Fresh arugula (optional, for added freshness)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat a skillet: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Assemble the sandwich: Lay out two slices of sourdough on a clean surface. On each slice, layer half of the Brie cheese. Top each with prosciutto and a generous spoonful of cranberry sauce. Optionally, add a handful of fresh arugula for a peppery crunch.

Season and top: Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper over the cranberry sauce. Top with the remaining slices of Brie and finish with the second slice of sourdough to create a sandwich.

Butter the bread: Spread the softened butter evenly on the outside of each slice of bread.

Grill the sandwich: Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is also golden and the cheese has melted.

Serve warm: Once both sides are crispy and the cheese is gooey, remove from the skillet. Let it cool for a minute, then slice the sandwich in half.

Enjoy: Serve immediately, optionally with extra cranberry sauce on the side for dipping.
