1 cup fresh cranberries

1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 tablespoon lime juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water and drain well.

    In a medium saucepan, add the cranberries along with 1/4 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook until the cranberries start to pop and soften, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and let cool.

      In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Beat with a hand mixer or fork until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

        Add in the cooled cranberries, chopped jalapeño, honey (or maple syrup), lime juice, garlic powder, and mix well until all ingredients are well combined.

          Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust sweetness or heat as desired by adding more honey or jalapeño.

            Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

              Before serving, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
