Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened, about 2-3 minutes. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Sauce: Once the beef is browned, pour in the beef broth, stirring well. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.

Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and heated through.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, tossing well to coat the pasta in the creamy beef sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is combined and warmed through.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately. Enjoy your creamy beef and bowtie pasta!
