Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Brown the Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir in the dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken for about 5-6 minutes.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the beef sauce, stirring to coat evenly. Gradually mix in the shredded parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.

Serve: Remove from heat, taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
