Ingredients

12 ounces rotini pasta

1 pound ground beef

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon—approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the beef and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to thicken.

Add Cheese and Seasonings: Lower the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese slowly. Add the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine: Add the drained rotini into the skillet with the creamy sauce, tossing until the pasta is well coated. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more beef broth or pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Divide the creamy beef and rotini among plates or bowls. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
