Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

2 cups medium shell pasta

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, approximately 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried Italian herbs.

While the beef is cooking, bring a separate pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shell pasta and cook according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Once the beef is cooked, pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture back to a simmer. Gradually add in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.

Fold in the cooked shell pasta, ensuring every piece is well coated in the creamy beef mixture. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, adjusting the seasoning as needed.

Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute before serving.
