2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup spinach leaves

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper.

      Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

          Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens slightly.

            Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet, then toss in the spinach and Italian seasoning. Cook until the spinach wilts, about 2 minutes.

              Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy chicken mixture, tossing well to coat all the pasta evenly in the sauce. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

                Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken further.
