In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Once they float to the surface, typically 2-3 minutes, drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth. If the sauce gets too thick, you can add a bit of pasta water to adjust the consistency.
Gently fold the cooked gnocchi into the sauce, making sure each piece is well-coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
