Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season them with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

Sear the Salmon: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for about 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is crispy. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add heavy cream, dried thyme, dried oregano, and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring well.

Add Cheese and Herbs: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Then, fold in the chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Combine and Bake: Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning some of the creamy herb sauce over the top. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Serve the salmon warm, drizzled with additional creamy sauce, and with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
