Ingredients
  

1 package (9 oz) of fresh cheese ravioli

1 cup heavy cream

1 medium lemon (zest and juice)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (for a little heat)

Instructions
 

Cook the Ravioli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.

    Make the Sauce: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

      Add Cream and Lemon: Pour in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

        Incorporate Cheese: Mix in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

          Combine Ravioli and Sauce: Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet, gently tossing to coat them in the creamy lemon sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
