Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for optimal crispiness)

2 cups cooked rice (jasmine or basmati)

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup shredded carrots

2 green onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp ginger, grated

2 tbsp cornstarch

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking oil (for frying)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Rice: If you haven’t already, cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.

Crisp the Beef: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and crispy (about 7-10 minutes). This will create a nice texture.

Season the Beef: Once the beef is crispy, add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir to combine, then sprinkle the cornstarch over the mixture and toss to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and saucy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Sauté Vegetables: In another skillet, add a splash of oil over medium heat. Add broccoli and carrots, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until just tender but still crisp. You can mix in half of the chopped green onions at this point for extra flavor.

Assemble the Bowl: In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, followed by the crispy beef mixture on top. Add the sautéed vegetables and sprinkle with the remaining green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.

Serve: Enjoy your crispy beef rice bowl while it's hot! Feel free to add your favorite hot sauce or chili flakes for extra heat.
