Ingredients

1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy flavor)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Cauliflower: Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Aim for uniform size for even cooking.

Season the Florets: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Add the cauliflower florets and toss until evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Add Cheese (Optional): If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the seasoned cauliflower and toss gently to distribute. This adds a lovely flavor and extra crispness.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring the florets are not overcrowded for maximum crispiness.

Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the cauliflower halfway through, until it’s golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges for a refreshing squeeze of citrus.
