Ingredients

3 cups elbow macaroni

4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

4 cups whole milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Begin by cooking the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, and melted butter. Mix well until combined into a cheesy paste.

Add in the whole milk, garlic powder, onion powder, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Grease the inside of your crock pot with cooking spray or a little butter to prevent sticking.

Pour the cooked macaroni into the crock pot, then pour the cheese mixture over the macaroni. Gently stir until all the pasta is evenly coated in cheese.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.

If you'd like a crispy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the mac and cheese for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Replace the lid to allow the breadcrumbs to toast.

Once done, give the mac and cheese a final stir, and taste for seasoning, adjusting salt and pepper as desired.

Spoon servings into bowls, and garnish with fresh parsley.
