Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 lb (450g) ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

2 cups cranberry sauce (canned or homemade)

1/4 cup barbecue sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Optional: Fresh cranberries and parsley for garnish

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.

Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet or plate. You should have about 20-24 meatballs.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard until well combined.

Pour half of the sauce mixture into the bottom of the crockpot.

Place the meatballs in the crockpot on top of the sauce. Then pour the remaining sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are all evenly coated.

Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.

Once cooked, gently stir the meatballs in the sauce to coat them before serving.

                Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 6-8 hours | Servings: 6-8

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the meatballs on a large platter, drizzled with extra sauce, and garnished with fresh cranberries and parsley for a festive touch. Consider serving them with toothpicks for easy eating at parties!
