Ingredients

4 cups water

4 Earl Grey tea bags

1 cup fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)

1/4 cup honey (or sweetener of choice, to taste)

Juice of 1 lemon

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 4 Earl Grey tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

While the tea is steeping, in a separate bowl, gently mash the fresh raspberries using a fork until they are juicy.

After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and stir in the mashed raspberries and honey while the tea is still warm. This allows the honey to fully dissolve and the raspberry flavor to infuse into the tea.

Add the lemon juice, mix well, and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove the raspberry pulp and seeds.

Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours until it's nice and cold.

Serve the iced tea over ice cubes in tall glasses and garnish with whole raspberries and fresh mint leaves.
